I really did like that truck, any idea where it ended up?

Sometimes I think I should have bought it, I remember considering it when you had it up for sale. It was 22re swapped right?

Jason did you have that black 81 pickup?

Good tip Noey! I noticed that with a few Jks on that obstacle, you got to heat em up

You have a 4:1 case and 38s? How did you feel about crawling those obstacles with that ratio? Could you use a lower gear?

Those make me want to go wheeling! Awesome shots! Love the flop at Greens mountain with the J**ps in the background! Love watching people on that obstacle.

Ive only been there once, Indidnt really see where the trail goes after that. It seems to get really tight

You guys might appreciate this. My friend in Smithville was parting out a 4runner that I took the seats from, and this was inside. I got it before I planned to paint my truck the same way. Love vintage Toyota stuff

Looks like the concourse is in good shape! I only ever had dirt bikes. 86′ Honda 50 was my first bike, then I had a CT70, than a Honda 80, 100, 85, 125 and 250, then I got into quads. How’s your insurance for the Kawi?

Nice setup at camp! How long does it usually take to set up from the time you pull in to when you sit down by the fire?

Bent my winch plate and the tabs on the frame when I winched. I beefed it up when I had the body off and restored the frame

Had to winch up, the overhang and departure angle of 4runners isn’t the best as you guys know. Tacoma’s and some Cruisers are the same way. My friend with 40s and and a bobbed bed did make it up right after me though, that was pretty awesome!

That’s awesome! I think that’s one of the most capable vehicles in stock form for wheeling. How do you like wheeling it? Some trails I’ve run are so tight I can’t imagine doing it in an 80

Fiberglass definitely isn’t cheap, I never realized what it costs

Where was that trail? I’ve never seen a Sequoia on the the trail before that’s a big heavy beast.

    TNTT WHEELING TIP #1

Suck a little H20 in your motor? No worries. Here’s how we dealt with this:

This works best only if  you don’t have enough oil for a full change.

    1) Shut the motor off immediately, and get pulled out of the obstacle

    2) If a Jeep offers to pull you out, kindly reject the offer

    3) Pull of spark plug wires and pull the plugs.

    4) wait until the water and oil settle back into the oil pan

    5) oil is lighter than water and naturally will float on the surface. If you crack the bolt on the oil pan, but don’t remove, water should drip out slowly. All we did was wait until the water turned to oil and then tighten bolt

    6) crank the motor with your hand over the spark plug tubes until you see no more water coming out onto your hands.

    7) dry out the filter which is probably soaking wet. And then it’s probably best to change the oil and filter as soon as possible. This motor needed timing chain guides and some other work so it was junk to him anyway. Wheeled for another couple days with that fix.
