Toy-YotaParticipant
Thanks for sharing that info, I didn’t actually realize that 05+ had the frame recall too. I tried to get my 04 done but it was a georgia truck and didn’t apply.
Toy-YotaParticipantHopefully she is all patched up in no time! That sucks though. What did the other driver have to say for her/himself?

Toy-YotaParticipantReally wish I could go I had another trip planned the same weekend. I was thinking about coming across and going in for a day but it’s just too far (3 1/2 hr) of a drive from where we are going!
Toy-YotaParticipantThat is pretty nuts, it was definitely a big runner. Keep us updated on the red truck now that you have a bit more space to work on it!
Toy-YotaParticipantLooks awesome! Now that you have all that free driveway space to work. That should air the smell right out, leave it open until about February!
Hows the wife’s new daily?
Toy-YotaParticipantTom sold the bigrunner so I will hold down the fort for first Gen 4runners until he gets his 86 on the road!
Half top is on just gotta paint it

Toy-YotaParticipantDefinitely will want AC with this weather!
Toy-YotaParticipantCool! If you’re gonna daily it, definitely a smart move to go cable conversion rear locker. I’m sure you know how the elocker housings rot.
Sounds like a cool build, what front springs will you run?
Do you have wagoneer axle yet? Did you consider using a Toyota axle and converting to a toy tcase? I considered SAS’ing my 04 so just curious of your thoughts.
Toy-YotaParticipantWell I really thought long and hard about buying the BigRunner from Tom. Went to see it this morning and he really is a stand up cool dude. Ultimately it worked out well for another buyer to take it. I just wanted to steal a lot of the good parts from it anyway so I think we would both rather see someone buy it, clean it up and wheel it.
I would have been stressed trying to get everything put together before our trips too, so it’s for the best. Gotta say though, that thing is rad, it’s built well. The previous owner just BUILT IT SOOO HIGH. Wish we got pics of it next to mine
Toy-YotaParticipantQuick lone run in Waterdown this evening
Toy-YotaParticipantWhat’s the setup for suspension, and lockers. you’ve peaked my interest mostly because of the 5.29s and doubler. Two things that I very much want.
Toy-YotaParticipantTell us more about the first Gen!
Is your truck on kijiji right now? The 89 with a 3.0? I’ll tell my buddies
Toy-YotaParticipantFeel free not to answer this question but how much do you think you spent on fuel for this trip? My wife and I are thinking about a trip like this.

Toy-YotaParticipantFirst fully legit drive, safetied it yesterday and got historic plates this morning and it’s all good to go. Adjusted brakes so they feel tight. And replaced some missing bolts in the tcase lol. Then locktighted a bunch of stuff
Toy-YotaParticipantThat’s awesome they look great! Do you ever come by the Hamilton Burlington area? I’d be glad to snag a couple to sticker up the Runner
