Toy-YotaParticipant
I hate adult responsibilities. Maybe a couple of you can message me your numbers and I can text when I’m done to see if anyone is still around
Toy-YotaParticipantDoes anyone have an idea of how long they’ll stay tomorrow? My plans can’t be changed it probably won’t end until 4?

Toy-YotaParticipantFirst wheeling outing, day before the meet and greet. Got her nice and dirty and tried my best to clean it up. It did well, suspension creaks a lot more than it did before that’s for sure. Power steering box/pump is a little slower but it might be because of the steering stabilizer. I didn’t have one before.
<p style=”text-align: left;”></p>Toy-YotaParticipantI won’t be able to make it until around 3:30 or so, but I plan on bringing the 4runner on a trailer because I haven’t gotten my plates and everything yet!
Toy-YotaParticipantThanks for all your organization!
Toy-YotaParticipantCool stuff, what’s the short term to do list?
Toy-YotaParticipantCan’t wait to see more progress. The 45 is my favourite (and probably a lot of others too) Toyota. That’s rad you got your hands on one. Have fun with the resto, 40+ years of life is definitely interesting.
Toy-YotaParticipantHonestly I really was surprised at how much they cost given how simple they really are.
On a Toyota aluminum is the way to go, the whole bed weighs 300 lbs. Two guys can lift it. Steel was going to weigh around 1000 which kills payload especially when I always have a trailer.
If you can weld aluminum go for it! They’re very versatile and less to worry about.
Toy-YotaParticipantLess time for the Toyota lately now that work started again. Got my bed test fit though
Toy-YotaParticipantReally thought winter was over, I brought home all my equipment and even pulled the salter off the truck and took the bed off to sell.
That was foolish….
Toy-YotaParticipantHonestly, this is great topic for discussion. Why are some parts desk guys completely inept when it comes to anything older than the year 2000?
As soon as you mention an older vehicle their minds and ears shut off and they just say they can’t help.
Thanks for the P/N’s by the way that’s really helpful. It’s normal if they don’t keep them in stock but at least if they have the PN it makes it easier to look up and order

Toy-YotaParticipantI’ve always got those peices from trail gear because I had ordered the knuckle rebuild kit.
but you only need the gaskets.
Toy-YotaParticipantYou too Finn! Did some research on the axle castor shims and they’re installed the right way. Best guess is the vibe is coming from my tires.
Toy-YotaParticipantTrying my best to get there!
Toy-YotaParticipantThank you so much for the offer Slick, I have a set of stockers, and 31s too, unfortunately it just won’t pass a legitimate safety because the original suspension, braking, steering etc has been altered. So it just takes knowing somebody who will write the safety.
