The fuel tank finally came in for the SL100. Although it took a long time to get here, it was a good price for tank, cap, keys and petcock all together and the quality appears to be very good!

The packaging was well done too. No damage from shipping.

As much as I hate to say it, have you tried Royal Distributing? Your bike is newer, so they might have something…
I’ve never had good luck with them because “old bikes…”.

Nice progress though. My tank finally came in for the SL!

That cover looks great. Would she do motorcycle seat covers?

I don’t think it would need much. There is a chip in the windshield on the passenger side bottom corner. I was going to get that replaced and a small rust spot fixed from where they scratched the paint when replacing the windshield 9 years ago. My body guy said he’d do it for $500.

In the past 2 years it’s had all shocks replaced with Bilstein 5100’s, front wheel bearings replaced, front driveshaft seal replaced, all U-joints replaced, prop shaft centre bearing replaced and new rear leaf springs.

The AC isn’t working – I had replaced the condenser 2 years ago and it’s still holding pressure, so I think it needs a compressor.

I should be picking up the stock bumpers next weekend. I was planning on removing the rock sliders, steel bumpers and winch to clean up and sell separately… I’ll be installing the winch on my ’19 Taco when I get a slimline bumper for it.

On Tuesday we got satellite TV with a lot of channels…….

I’ve done pretty much nothing since we got it, but watch TV. Not sure this was such a good idea. lol

We went almost 4 years without TV. Now if I turn it on, I turn into a drooling couch potato! This is going to take some discipline!

Does sound like alignment then, since you’ve already serviced the brakes.

Is it a pull that increases with braking or a continuous pull. Tire air pressure can cause a pull as well… I have a slow leak in my left front tire – when the truck starts pulling, means I need to air up. A couple days later, the TPMS light comes on.

Usually my air holding issues are from too much mud and sticks in the bead.

    ^^^LOL.
1 of 2 of my bro-in-laws + a nephew work in the construction industry, but they rarely have time for their own renos… They helped me with the gas line to the garage for beer!

I’m the only one that works on vehicles…

Thanks! Just more gas and holding the tank higher to allow gravity to take effect… New tank should be here in the next couple of weeks.

Back to home renos for a bit now…
