Ah! Good point – I’ll check that out first. Didn’t even think of that!
One time I took her into the dealer for some warranty work after a winter back roads run. They sent me a picture of the undercarriage and said they’d have to let it melt before they could do anything. They actually took it pretty well… I’ll post the picture if I can find it.

I have a mini fluorescent lamp on a retractable cord, hanging from the garage ceiling. makes it a little harder to forget about it, as I can see the yellow leash wrapped around the mirror or something…
I now have a vibration in the steering wheel between 80 and 95Kmph. Goes away at 100 Kmph.
I think it might be a tire out of balance. Going to try rotating tires front to back and see if the vibration moves with the tires tomorrow.
My new Taco has switches in the roof console, but they’re not illuminated (at least I don’t think they are…). It would definitely be easier to see them at night if they were illuminated. They are for my sunroof and I never use that anyway.
I put a 4WD illumination mod in my 09 Taco and I love that one because I occasionally need 4WD at night.
As long as they’re not too bright, shouldn’t be a problem…

I think 285’s would look awesome on that 4Runner! shouldn’t need any trimming if he puts a bit of a lift in.
LOL. My GPS has been sitting in the dash slot below the aftermarket radio for years… I just move it to the cup holder when I’m using it.
Ah to have kids that still want to do stuff with dad. Enjoy it while you can! They grow up fast!
