Slick_YotaKeymasterMessed around with the timing on the Dodge and got it running well just in time to put it in storage!
At least I could do 1 last smoke show before putting her away!
Slick_YotaKeymasterGas heater from TSC installed in the garage and the bro-in-law ran the lines to fuel her up. It’s nice having a perpetually warm shop! Buds should dry out even better now!
HEI distributor for the old Dodge was a bust… Runs worse now than before! She goes into storage this weekend, so I’ll have to wait till next year for any changes. Think I’ll go back to Mopar parts.
Slick_YotaKeymasterNice work! Sand blasting does suck….. Hence why you have that blaster now and not me! I rate it right up there with painting – I love the finished product, but I hate the process of getting there…
Slick_YotaKeymasterGlad to hear Redee ran great and a good time was had by all!

Slick_YotaKeymasterHey Tom, M has to work Saturday so we won’t be going up. Plus I’m a$$ deep in a kitchen reno… Another time.
Slick_YotaKeymasterTook the old Connie drag racing and did 12.5’s for the quarter mile.
First time was the Saturday and blew an ignition coil when she slipped from 3rd gear back to 2nd at 11,000 RPM.
Replaced the plugs and coils and went out again. Pulled off 12.5’s again and didn’t blow anything up this time (good thing because I had to ride home!).

Slick_YotaKeymasterGot the garage ceiling insulated Sunday. Great Northern quoted me $800 to do it with a timing of ~4 weeks.
I picked up 6 bags of Pink blow in and 2 bundles of vents. With equipment rental, it cost me $518 and took me 1.5 hours. Good cost savings!Next step will be to buy a gas heater and have a gas line run to the garage.
I also just received my HEI distributor for the Dodge. That should allow me to get some higher RPMs before needing to change gears.
Slick_YotaKeymasterLol. Glad it worked out well!
Slick_YotaKeymasterSweet looking rig! Maybe see you @ the October run!
Slick_YotaKeymasterWelcome @Dieseldude!
Slick_YotaKeymasterPriorities!
Slick_YotaKeymasterNice to meet you guys! See you in Ardbeg!

Slick_YotaKeymasterI’ll be heading up Friday afternoon.
Slick_YotaKeymasterBought it brand new in August 2008.
It has about 218,000 Kim’s on it. Always use synthetic oil.
2.7L IL4 cylinder.
BFG KO2 285/75R16 tires with same size spare.
I have rock sliders for it as well. I wanted to keep the winch, but will let it go with the truck for full asking price.
Slick_YotaKeymasterFOR SALE!!!! $10,000 as is.
Shouldn’t need much to certify. Everything works, except it needs an AC compressor. I replaced the condenser last year. Holds pressure, but AC doesn’t blow cold anymore… think the compressor has had the biscuit.-
