ParticipantWell I have a few more weeks before work starts so I decided to build another trailer. Plans are pretty basic, 50”x6.5L’ box, pretty long tongue, today I picked up some 31×10.5 BFG KO’s, and pro comp wheels.
It will have 3 doors on it and a gas strut assist lid. A drawer slide on the front will hold a full size cooler. And some other cool odds and ends, it will be heavy duty.
It’ll also be for sale once I’m done, I’m going To have it fully galvanized and then I’ll reassemble. Pretty excited, it’s going well!March 5, 2021 at 6:28 pm #210659Toy-Yota
Participant15×8 Pro comp street locks -19 offset and 31s should fill out the fenders. I should probably start a dedicated thread for this build so maybe I’ll do that as I get more pics
In other exciting news I’m going through the process to build a dedicated shop here.
Plans are a 32×56’ pole barn, 14’ height, scissor trusses, two 10×10 doors, a 10k hoist and partial mezzanine. Still getting some quotes and permitting stuff so hopefully it all works out.

ParticipantFramed up the lid that will be on gas struts and be sheeted with 3/8 aluminum for strength and a solid base for a roof rack and mount for a tent.
I borrowed a Lincoln 180 and got that wired up in my shop so I’ll be finish welding a lot of stuff tomorrow and getting the rest of the door framing done. I got my hinges today and I’ll be getting lots done tomorrowAttachments:

ParticipantLooking good already bud!
Will this trailer also fit and haul your atv to the trail?March 8, 2021 at 8:54 pm #210686Toy-Yota
ParticipantThis trailer is strictly for a tent and for gear. It has side doors and a drawer slide for a cooler. You’ll see as it progresses. It’s not really for hauling load, pretty much just for camping. It’s going up for sale as soon as it’s done, I won’t be keeping it. I’m planning To build more as people order them.

KeymasterIs that wheel off your truck or are you putting $1000 worth of wheels on that trailer?
