Toy-YotaParticipant
Love your truck, I used to ride mostly street/dirtjumps with my mtb, had a fully too but never got a chance to use it!
Toy-YotaParticipantHopefully I don’t need to use them but the trail we run every year is pretty gnarly and tight. The material for the sliders is pretty thin walled but hopefully it’ll keep the trees away from the siding on the trailer.
Toy-YotaParticipantGot the rock sliders and cab corner guards welded up. My truck doesn’t even have sliders yet!
Toy-YotaParticipantThat reminds me of when people post pictures of there truck after an accident and people say “hope you’re okay! I’ll buy the tires and rims”
Toy-YotaParticipantNice to see a willing spirit wanting to help out. Wish I could come, never heard of the trail before actually. I just did some research quick and watched a couple videos. I saw some rocks but seems like a lot of mud too
Toy-YotaParticipantToy-YotaParticipantAhh ya painted the spare black today too
Toy-YotaParticipant315/75r16 on 16” Tacoma rims. 4 tires and rims, 500 bucks for TNTT members. 70% rear and 40-50 front. Old style MTRs
Toy-YotaParticipantThat really looks like an incredible trip it is pretty wild that that truck can drive all the way across America. Trip of a life time for sure I’d love to pick your brain about it sometime. How did you break up the driving?
So true about the campsites being free. The pics from Zion are 1000x better than any campsite in Ontario, that’s beautiful
Toy-YotaParticipantSure do! 3 brand new bushwhacker flares. Two fronts and one rear. 100 bucks for all them
Toy-YotaParticipantJust got these basically new 35×12.5 Baja Claws, unfortunately I bought 4 Of them and one has a steel street lock rim instead of the pro comp alloy. Called around and Pro Comp discontinued that rim. The alloy 1028 satin black. So I’m up the river….. hard to sell three rims. Now I now why they were so cheap. The tires are worth what I paid anyway. My old set are for sale.
Toy-YotaParticipantCan’t believe your OMEs snapped, that’s surprising. So what’s the story, big parts order going in?
Toy-YotaParticipantLifted! Got new 72” 3500 lb axle, new leafs to replace the torsion axle. Spring over. Gussets everything. I have a bigger set of tires and rims to go on. Rides better than it did before.
Toy-YotaParticipantNew project! 1989 Starcraft, lift and bigger tires, plus build some armor. One owner bought new its decently clean
Toy-YotaParticipantI agree I think it looks great, sorry to hear about all the issues with the brakes. Brakes are the worst
