Slick_YotaKeymasterLooking good!
Question for you: 2002 Suzuki quad 500, 4×4 with 3.600 kms on it. My father in law will sell it to me for $2,250. Plastics are good, just hte rubber flares are torn up a bit.
It runs, drives and kinda stops. apparently has new brakes, but only the front lever really does anything.I’m not really up on quad value, but this seems ok to me. What do you think? (He just bought it to flip it, but would sell it to me for what he paid…).
Slick_YotaKeymasterCool! pre-approval is always good to get!
Can’t double your money on all of em… but if you still made a bit, that’s a win too!
Slick_YotaKeymasterI understand the feeling, I had 2 trucks, the hot rod and the bike all insured last year. Couldn’t see the sense, so sold the 09 Taco, took the bike off the road this year. Now it’s just the 19 Taco and the hot rod. Cut the insurance bill significantly!
The car has been taking up my time lately. But I might end up just taking it to my local guy to take a look at. I generally don’t let anyone work on my vehicles except me, but think I need help with this one…
Slick_YotaKeymasterHad it out back in May, but got same ET’s because I kept spinning the tires off the light. That’ll be the only time this year. It’s developed a charging issue that I’m working on and it was sputtering a bit last time I had it out.
Slick_YotaKeymasterUpdate on all the bikes I no longer have…
Sold Melissa’s 400 Ninja
Sold the Honda SL100
Sold the 94 Kawi Concours frame
Sold the 02 Kawi Concours (running and driving) and majority of my concours parts to free up garage space.
Sold my bike hoist. All I have left now is my 87 Concourse with the 94 front, wheels, drivetrain and rear end. It also has the 02 combination meter and modern console covers with the locking compartments. This one still has the side hard cases, if anyone wanted to put them on and an extra set of non-leaking forks.
I have it listed on FB Marketplace (too late in season) for $2,000, but I’d let it go to a friend for better price…- This reply was modified 2 years, 3 months ago by Slick_Yota.

Slick_YotaKeymasterFunny thing, I’ve been trying to burn off these GoodYear Tiger Paws, but they’re so damn hard! They still look good (aside from being all season tires on a Hot Rod for god sakes).
I’m sure once I upgrade to a softer summer tire, they’ll burn off much faster! lolSlick_YotaKeymasterGreat that you were able to sell the wing. usually bikes don’t sell in the summer…
Let me know if you’re interested in a 1987 Kawasaki Concourse with ’94 front end and drive train. Shouldn’t need much, if anything for safety. Have an extra set of non-leaking forks to go with it.
Asking $2,000 for it, but I’d give you a deal. All my other bikes and parts bikes are sold off now.Slick_YotaKeymasterUpdate on the track performance. Still running 16’s with the 3:73’s cause I blow the tires off at the light every time…. Hard not to dump the clutch and bury it. Have to ease off a bit, but it’s not in my nature. lol
Slick_YotaKeymasternice score!
Slick_YotaKeymasterNice looking rig!
Slick_YotaKeymasterAnd then there’s this…. I pulled out a neighbour who was stuck.
After I got him out, I was going to park on the road whilst I snowblow out the driveway.
As I was pulling to the side, I was talking to another neighbour, not paying attention to where I was going. This was a fine time to learn the tie down hook on the front of the truck isn’t big enough for a 3/4” shackle!
