I agree, building more than one at a time will make it more profitable for you. 100 hours isn’t bad in my opinion for a custom built unit. The end result is killer bud, she’ll sell….my guess is closer to May 24 and after income tax returns have all come in.

May 26, 2021 at 9:15 am #210940toys-n-yotasParticipantDid you sell your trailer yet? Gov’t kinda eff’d you by making camping illegal for the mean time.
May 28, 2021 at 10:13 pm #210942Toy-YotaParticipantYes sir, sold it early this week and got close to asking price, so that was nice. Did a little wrenching on the 80 today, serviced the front brakes, greased the front driveshaft and fixed an issue with the driver front hub. And did a coolant flush with the Red stuff
Getting it ready for camping, hoping to fix the AC and a couple emissions things.- This reply was modified 3 years, 6 months ago by Toy-Yota.

The LC is lookin’ pretty healthy, got any camping trips in the works?
June 3, 2021 at 7:24 am #210956Toy-YotaParticipantWe don’t have much by way of plans but as soon camping is open again we’ll be gone every weekend. I’m trying To get the 80 ready to go I have drilled and slotted Powerstop Z32 front brakes on the way, so I’m excited To get those one. There’s a clunk coming from the driver side that under braking that I can’t pin point.
We’re anxious to get away once the bugs subside, Especially because I just put a deposit on this, and we’ll be wanting to get out and use it. Going to bracebridge this aft to go check it out.

Been busy with work too. I decided to sell the overland storage solution for the 80 I don’t really use it as intended. 400 bucks if anyone’s interested. And I just built this bar out in the back 40 and a new custom fire pitAttachments:
June 8, 2021 at 3:04 pm #210963Slick_YotaKeymasterCongrats on the new quad! Looks awesome!
I love the reclaimed wood bar! I’ve been doing all kinds of stuff with reclaimed wood lately!
June 19, 2021 at 7:50 am #210992Toy-YotaParticipantReclaimed wood is tough to find now, I found a bunch of these old deck boards dumped off behind a store in town so I loaded them all up. They were filled with nails though.
Threw these on yesterday, they feel a bit better than the old ones, I couldn’t for the life of me get the caliper to compress enough to get the new pads in though, the old ones had a lot of life so I put them back in. But I think I’ll order new calipers and then use the new pads.

August 6, 2021 at 4:53 pm #211049Toy-YotaParticipantI forgot to post that I ordered a part time tcase kit for the 80 and I ordered Aisin hubs. We’ll see how it all comes together I haven’t installed it yet and I’ll most likely wait until the winter.
The 30 spline axles I put in are kinda soft and figured they wouldn’t last long with a lot of road miles, but if they’re not spinning they won’t wear out as quick.
