Perhaps with the Spring-over mod and fully loaded with gear, your net ride height may not be much increased, you may Still get the tire/fender look when weighted down.
Atv 300kg
Tent 50kg
Water @ 1kg/L (est 20-40kg)
Propane @ 10 kg
Deep cell @ 20kg
Tongue box and tools…June 13, 2020 at 9:55 pm #209688Toy-YotaParticipantThat’s actually a good point, you’re smarter then you look. I didn’t think about the loaded weight. Mind you the leaf springs on it are thick and lots of leafs so I feel as though they barely move at all even under load. Progress pics….
The bumper is what I’m hoping to build/maybe buy.

That BBQ stand on the side is my fav part so far. 1 concern, smoke/steam/splatters will be right under your tent. Good in the morning if you or wifey Q up some bacon & eggs!!
June 14, 2020 at 10:55 pm #209708Toy-YotaParticipantThe tents gonna open up on the opposite side so hopefully too much doesn’t go up there but it’s true, it all bolts on so if it doesn’t work I’ll just change it up.

June 17, 2020 at 9:13 am #209725toys-n-yotasParticipantSecond that!
June 18, 2020 at 6:00 am #209747Toy-YotaParticipantSo I made that light bar pivot 180 degrees on a rubber bushing so hopefully it can take some abuse, which will be nice. Deep cycle is in and my switch panel all works as it should. The tent comes in today, and once it’s installed I’ll wire up my LED strip lights under the tent. Made a mount the other day and Mounted my water can. Ordered a 10w solar panel and charge controller and put that on, it’ll just maintain the deep cycle I’m hoping, not expecting much from it to be honest. Where we camp is generally shaded anyway.
Headed up toward Bancroft Friday if all goes to plan.
I mounted my old 4wd shifter knob from my first gen On it too just for old times sake, and saw this beauty 80 at 4wp.Attachments:

July 22, 2020 at 8:21 am #209836Toy-YotaParticipantHad to take the big tires off and put the 255s back on, headed back up to bancroft for a last min trip and had a relaxing time on the beach.
I actually sold the 37s right when I got home. If I didn’t have the trailer I’d keep them I think, but with 4.10s and the trailer it was shifting all over the place and would barely do the limit. It was better with the 255s for sure.So I think what I’ll do is order a set of 35s for the stock wheels and put the 255s back on the trailer. Or possibly try to sell the 255s again.

July 22, 2020 at 6:57 pm #209846toys-n-yotasParticipantQuite a significant size difference between the 37s and 255s. Do you have any factory lockers? Re-gearing from 4.10s not feasible?
July 22, 2020 at 7:39 pm #209847Toy-YotaParticipantYeah it’s a huge difference!
It’s pretty expensive, I do have factory lockers But I still can’t get the rear one to engage.I think by the time I pull the thirds and have it regeared it’ll be more than I want to spend. If all I was doing was overlanding I’d keep these tires but I just can’t seem to shake the crawling, so 35s will do suffice.
