KeymasterI just bought a lift kit for the Tundra! Should look pretty sick with those wheels!

KeymasterWow!
well, we drive ’em because we love ’em… not because they’re fuel efficient!

KeymasterLooks like a good score. Hope the overheating issue clears up.

KeymasterEnjoy the trip Mark. Birthday party and mom visit for me. Should be a beauty weekend up there!

Keymaster@Finn, it’s so tempting to just flip and make $$, but I love this bike at the moment and want to drive it for the summer… Maybe sell next spring.
@Toys, lol – yes I was… but I tend to be a bit of an impulse buyer when it comes to bikes. When the right one comes along at the right price, can’t resist. Still searching the rods though…
I wish I didn’t work so much – that would make progress on the Connie much faster. We tend to go visit friends every other weekend too… Cuts into play time. Still not sure if I should leave the fairings on the front or strip it down – I like how they keep the wind off, but then again I don’t ride in sub-zero temps anymore…

KeymasterOf course since I can’t do only 1 thing at a time, I picked up the fore mentioned ’77 Kawasaki KZ750 Twin:

KeymasterDrilled 4 holes through the plug to fill with mig (or flux core) and butt welded the seam.
Then started the seat chop on the Connie:
