KeymasterCongrats on the sale! I totally understand about the seller’s remorse – that’s why I keep my old shit when I buy new stuff… Hence why I have 2 Tacoma and 6 motorcycles….

KeymasterThe Amazon gods have promised a speedy switcheroo of the wrong spacers 😀

KeymasterOh yeah, she’s got the mod bug now!

KeymasterPut the front wheel bearings in the old girl yesterday. Took her for a test drive – nice and quiet driving now. The left side was fvcked!
Melissa put 34’s on the Tundra today! It looks sick! Pics to come…

KeymasterGot the lift delivered and went to install it yesterday. Put the rears in first. Not a hitch. Then onto the fronts…..
Of course I’ve done this before, so no need to look at the instructions – right? So I get the right side apart, grab the spacer and it doesn’t fit. Found the instruction sheet – part is for a 2007 Silverado!
Lesson learned – always check what you bought when it gets delivered….

KeymasterLOL. I had Art put the lift in the Tundra, so left it there over night. Then left it in town for the alignment. It’s back now!

KeymasterGot the rock auto order a week early. Have to schedule installation – just got the lift in the Tundra – it looks awesome! Pics to come… Also still need to install the lift in the new Taco – that should happen this weekend.

KeymasterResearch – Napa front wheel bearing and hub assembly $781 for a pair ($390 and change each).
Rock Auto wheel bearing and hub assembly $303.28 for a pair of the high quality ones, delivered to my freaking door!
Needless to say, ordered from Rock Auto…

Keymaster@Krezz I think so. Didn’t make a sound before the new Taco!

KeymasterWell, I’ve had the truck for almost a month now, so it’s time for the first mod…..
Just ordered a 3″ lift for the new girl. Just doing a block and spacer lift on it, since it’s just for looks – not function.
Just when the dog was enjoying the easy access of the quad cab with no lift – He’ll adjust….

KeymasterSo after driving the new Taco all the time, took the old one to pick up the dog from the kennel. Front end howling!!! not sure if I never noticed it before or something new… Sounds like front diff or wheel bearings… Will have to diagnose and fix before winter, as I wanted to use the old Taco for the winter.
