Picked this little gem up and have no regrets as it has been a great addition to monitoring in real time as opposed to just having gauges as well as reading codes.

Hey Tom, got the Doo up to the cottage mid Summer but never got a chance to get it in the water. I did however manage to get it idling and it had a couple of small issues, a few of the hoses need to be replaced. Better to find out beforehand than to get stranded half ways up the lake, LOL
A little update. Did a trial fitting on the cover and it looks like it will work fine with a few more stiches to tuck the material in and around the edges. Also have the carb rebuilt and almost setup to pop off at 26 psi. Gonna try to get at it this weekend if the gods will permit!
Just a quick update on Dave’s seats, the final product so to speak.
My thoughts too Tom, yet searching online was a nightmare compared to how I actually did find a close teal blue match. Just went to the Lens Mills store and there it was, on the the rack with about five other colours of marine vinyl, LOL
Don’t think so Steve, at one time she did quite a bit of seamstress work. This was more of a favour.
As a bonus she was kind enough to sew up a matching seat strap. Both Dave’s and my seats were missing the straps, apparently they don’t hold up well over time either as they are also used as an aid to getting on the watercraft if you find yourself behind it and not on it, LOL. Dave had some new Kayak strap that he wasn’t using which is the right size and is designed for strength. The extra strap I’ll double up on and pick up some SS bolts and washers make a rear grab handle which my machine didn’t come with yet Dave’s did.
