Since I’m sure this old girl will be taking up a lot of my time. I thought I might as well start a build thread to keep track of how much $$$ I’m dropping on her.
The PO’s wife kept a close eye on every penny he spent on her and it tallied $14,925.38
He said he had $22.000 tied up in her, so he paid about around $7 or $8 K back in 2015…Oddly enough, this POS used to belong to finn’s Bro-in-law back in the day!
Home sweet home!
Man, I gotta get rid of some bikes to make room!
KZ750 is running and ready to go!Attachments:
That’s one sweet ride Steve. Glad it found a spot in the stable amongst the bikes.
I bet the same penny-counting wife was glad to see that car go.
I’ve been tracking Redee’s expenses, moreso to keep part numbers in check. T100 brakes, chev motor, gotta keep the numbers for spare parts when I need it. Already used my tracker to replace an Alt belt I snapped.
Can’t believe your MTO still has old-style Ontario plates.
Excited to see what plans you have drumming up for Orange Crusher
I had to go to Waterloo to get the ownership changed and temp plates. Didn’t realize I needed an appraisal – what a sham that was. But $50 well worth it…
Hey Mark, does the car look more familiar like this:

That’s one massive blower on there! Two carbs, must be quite familiar with where closest provider of 91 octane is at all times haha.
Did/does your car have a rumble seat? Assumed it was a 2-door coupe, but I can’t even find a trunk seam in your recent pics. I gotta see the car in person, should Covid release her grip on social gatherings haha.
and what it looks like now:
PO sent me some pics of what it was like during his resto work:
That engine was messy before! Here it is now and the interior:

Indeed! Thanks! Went for a ride on the bikes for ice cream. Taking the Dodge for a spin shortly to get beer.
Put a new door on the garage and received my order of drywall (20 sheets) to do the ceiling. That’ll be next week’s project.
