KeymasterIndeed it is!!!
I used an OLFA utility knife. I’ve used a bread and fillet knives before.
I’ve seen bike builders use electric knives to trim their seats.

KeymasterI had to go to Waterloo to get the ownership changed and temp plates. Didn’t realize I needed an appraisal – what a sham that was. But $50 well worth it…

KeymasterNext, I pulled the carburetors off.
Replaced a seized throttle cable and pulled off the bottoms to see if there were actually floats in them (in the spare parts box, there were 3 floats…. there were also 4 carbs). I was thinking 1 carb might be missing a float.First carb looked not too bad. Second was a little goopy… cleaned them out a bit, but didn’t totally disassemble (getting late and I was hungry).
Put back together, adjusted the cables and put in fresh gas.
Then tried to crank her over….. and over….. and over.
M says “I think you’re out of luck my love”.
I look down at the choke and realize the fuel is still shut off – well shit!
Turn the fuel on and crank her again…… PUT! Hey, that’s a fire!
Keep cranking and vroom!!!! She started up!
Kijiji here we come!
