Feel free to post pics of your Kayaking/Canoing Adventures.
So I finally bought a kayak tonight.
Ive wanted one for years. Now that my kids are older and doing their own thing. It was time for me to buy one. Now I can go out and enjoy some of the beautiful lakes that I camp at. Now I can’t wait for the nicer weather!!
congrats J!
Had my 16′ tandem up at Ardbeg last year.
It only fell off the truck twice, good thing I borrowed it from a friend. Minded trails got pretty gnarly with all the rain that year.
We’re thinking about going to Algonquin for the spring brook trout opener. Will definitely need a better canoe if we do that.
I met up with Mike this morning and we went paddling outside of Markdale.

Cool! You certainly don’t want to fall in…
I like fishing out of a kayak too!

Nice pike!
I’ve heard good things about the kayaks for fishing, they’re really stable eh? My employee has one, and we are both avid fishermen. He goes out with his gf sitting in a camp chair on the front of his.
Thanks!
The one i was fishing from there was a sit-on. it was very stable. My Clearwater Design tandem was very stable as well, but it weighed a lot and was 16″ long. now I just have the Pelican 12″, that I got on sale… it’s ok, but I’d like a better one.
I think the only ones that aren’t so stable are the skinny racing kayaks…

I’m hoping to buy this canoe this year. I borrowed it from my neighbor.
